Tropic Air announces increased domestic flight schedule in north and center of Belize

Posted: Tuesday, May 18, 2021. 8:17 am CST.

By Aaron Humes: In two weeks’ time, there will be more flights from “The Airline of Belize” between three of its most popular destinations and one of its most critical with regard to cargo.

Tropic Air announced that on May 31 it will increase the number of flights between the Belize City Barry Bowen Municipal Airstrip and its home base, the San Pedro Town John Grief II Airstrip; Caye Caulker and between San Pedro and Corozal Town.

The new schedule offers more options and increased flexibility for time sensitive customers. This is in addition to the current schedule between these destinations and the Philip Goldson International Airport. In addition, our schedule between San Pedro and Corozal is being adjusted to allow for easier connections and faster cargo service to the rest of the country.

Weekday flights from San Pedro to Belize City leave at 7:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. while daily flights including weekends leave at 8:00 a.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Weekday and flights from Caye Caulker leave at ten past the hour on a similar schedule to San Pedro.

And flights from Belize City to the islands leave at half-past the hour on the same schedule.

There is a round trip flight from San Pedro to Corozal every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Passengers are also reminded that face coverings must be worn at all times while on the flights.
