Kaya Cattouse doing fundraising BBQ to race in nine-stages Intelligentsia Cup in Chicago in July

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Nine days of racing from July 16-25 with one rest day. It’s the Chicago-based Intelligentsia Cup which is on this year again and Kaya Cattouse intends to be there.

She did it two years ago and is ready to do it again this year.

To that end Belize’s premiere cyclist is embarking on a fundrasing drive, starting with a barbeque on May 29, to be able to attend and compete with the pros.

“Humbly asking your support,” Kaya said on a WhatsApp note to her contacts. “Sales by order only. Taking orders now,”

So, if you’d like to help Kaya out, give her a call and order your BBQ for May 29.

The Intelligentsia Cup has cyclists from all over participating in eleven different categories throughout ten days with one day break in and around Chicago, Illinois in the United States.

“There is always going to be some level of uncertainty, but our ongoing consultations with health experts and recent announcements from local authorities, gives us confidence in proceeding,” the organizers wrote on their website intelligentsiacup.com
