By Zoila Palma: The Ministry of Health and Wellness says that 9,668 people in Belize have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. This means that 9,668 people have received their first and second dose of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine.

According to the ministry’s data, the total number of people that have been vaccinated is 56,719.

The daily vaccination report is 1810 for May 19, 2021.

There are now 72 active cases of COVID-19 in Belize.

The public is encouraged to get vaccinated to protect themselves and their loved ones.
