Ministry of Health and Wellness reports four new recoveries from COVID-19

By Benjamin Flowers: Four more Belizeans have managed to cover from COVID-19 infection, according to the Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW).

All of the new recoveries were female. The national total for recoveries now stands at 12,349, and the national recovery rate stands at 96.8.

While there were no patients hospitalized due to the virus yesterday, today’s national update shows two patients hospitalized within standard COVID-19 units; however, there were no patients receiving critical care for COVID-19 in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

The MOHW notes that there are 77 active cases of COVID-19 and another 139 suspected cases under investigation.
