Weekend Warriors take to Jaguar Paw Road on Sunday for 3rd race after sports lockdown

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Weekend Warriors will ride 50 miles on the Jaguar Paw Road on Sunday in their 3rd race since sports resumption after the 14-month COVID-19 lockdown.

Edison Usher of the Weekend Warriors said their race starts at 8:30 am on the Jaguar Paw Road. The A Class riders will do five laps for a total of 50 miles. The B Class will ride 40 miles and the C Class 30 miles.

Sherwin Roca of FAL won the 2nd Weekend Warriors race which covered 50 miles last Sunday on the Lemonal Circuit. Barney Brown of Digi was second and Wayne Moses of Kulture 3rd.

Alicia Thompson won the Women’s Category over Kaya Cattouse.

Kenny Gooding of Santino’s won the B Category and Floyd Williams of FT Williams toped the C Category.

The previous Sunday, Kent ‘Bob’ Gabourel won the 40-mile first race on the John Smith Road in 1 hour 53 minutes. Vallan Symns was 2nd and Eric Morales was 3rd.

Santino ‘Chief’ Castillo won the B Category and Jerome Wade Sr took the C Category.

Kaya Cattouse triumphed the Women’s Category followed by Nicole Gallego in 2nd position.
