Belize Weather: Rainy end to the week

Moist and unstable conditions are supporting mostly cloudy skies today and tonight with showers and thunderstorms along the coast and in the South.

Localized flooding is possible in low-lying and flood-prone areas this morning.

High temperatures are 84 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 89 degrees inland and 78 degrees in the hills. Tonight, temperatures fall to 78 degrees along the coast, 72 degrees inland and 68 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly at 10 to 20 knots; sea state is moderate.

Tides will be low at five minutes before midday then high at nine minutes to six this evening.

The sun sets at nineteen minutes past six this evening and rises at eighteen minutes past five Saturday morning.

The extended outlook through Saturday night is for cloudy skies and showers and isolated thunderstorms in coastal and southern areas.
