Bodies of missing couple found

By Zoila Palma: The bodies of Leticia and Mark Frankel were found this afternoon somewhere near the John Smith Link road in Belize.

The pair were last seen on Tuesday of this week and an official report was made of their disappearance.

On Thursday CIB Hattieville Police visited Sunset Park and spoke to someone who reported that on Tuesday, at 7:00 p.m. they saw Mark Frankel’s vehicle enter the yard and depart about 15 minutes later.

This morning, a search on John Smith Airport Link Road about three miles into the road and in a ditch uncovered a white GMC Terrain with L/P BCC 65368 with the front end in a pool of water.

Inside the vehicle, police found a vehicle Certificate with registration No. 2176099 in the name of Mark Frankel.

Police and scenes of crime personnel are on the scene.
