Woman busted with gun and ammunition in Benque

By BBN Staff: Police have detained a Benque Viejo resident pending charges for kept unlicensed firearm and ammunition.

The 25-year-old woman was found on a ranch on Thursday afternoon and escorted to the Benque Viejo police station by immigration officers.

The officers found a.22 caliber pistol Walther brand along with 1 magazine containing 9 live rounds of ammunition.

They also found a total of (67) live  22 rounds of ammunition.

The woman is detained pending charges.
