One dead, one critical after Antelope Street shooting

By Aaron Humes: Just before ten p.m. Friday, police were once again called out concerning a shooting in Belize City.

At a residence on Antelope Street, cops found 58-year-old Randolph Gentle and 35-year-old Warren Davis preparing to be transported to Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital with gunshot injuries.

Gentle passed while en route while Davis is hospitalized in critical condition.

According to police, Gentle along Davis and others were together socializing at Davis’ Antelope Street residence when they were set upon by two armed men who stormed the yard, shooting Gentle and Davis before escaping.

Police are investigating.
