Belmopan man unable to get rid of money and crack cocaine

By Aaron Humes: Police have charged Belmopan resident Ernesto Pablo Williams, 25, with possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply.

It followed a search in the Market Square of the new capital by police on patrol on Thursday evening around 5:35 p.m., when police saw Williams tossing an object.

Police recovered $2,500 in various denominations and a parcel wrapped in a transparent plastic bag which contained suspected crack cocaine amounting to 975 grams (2.14 pounds).
