National Assembly creates code of conduct

By Aaron Humes: At the start of today’s meeting of the House of Representatives, Speaker Valerie Woods announced that the National Assembly, after meetings and careful consideration, had developed a code of conduct for all who worked within its bounds.

This is in addition to the separate Standing Orders for both the Senate and House of Representatives which generally address conduct of and in the meetings of each body.

The code will be distributed to members over the course of the coming week.
