By Rubén Morales Iglesias: When you take your vehicle for licensing inspection in Belize City, take it to the Marion Jones Sporting Complex, not to Johnson Street behind Constitution Park anymore.
That’s because the Belize City Council (BCC) has moved Traffic Inspection to Marion Jones Sporting Complex.
“We have relocated our Traffic Inspection Office to the Marion Jones Sporting Complex on Princess Margaret Drive,” said the BCC. “Not only does our new location offer services at a safer venue, but drivers can now have their vehicles inspected from the designated parking area while being protected from the weather conditions under the coverage of the overhead stadium.”
The BCC said the Marion Jones offers their staff better working conditions.
“The facility also offers a more comfortable work environment for our staff fitted with the necessary amenities and additional storage.”
“We would like to express our gratitude to the Minister of Youth, Sports and E-Governance, Hon. Kevin Bernard and the National Sports Council for allowing us to utilize the Marion Jones Sporting Complex for this initiative,” said the BCC.
“Through these modifications, our services will now be optimized to ensure that residents enjoy a holistic and enjoyable experience while having their vehicles inspected,” the BCC added.
