Belize City Council renovates Traffic Department Facilities

Posted: Monday, May 31, 2021. 4:27 pm CST.

By Ruben Morales Iglesias: The Belize City Traffic Department has been renovated, said the Belize City Council (BCC) in a social media statement.

“In the past weeks, our Traffic Department Office underwent a complete revitalization which entailed the fixing of structural damage, installation of new AC units, paving of the driveway, replacement of furniture and repainting of the office’s interior,” said the BCC.

They have also made changes to confirm with the COVID-19 social distancing requirements.

“Additionally, to increase safety and reduce physical contact we also restructured the office so that customers seeking assistance from the Traffic Administrator can now do so via a window as opposed to the previous face-to-face interactions.”

The BCC post says “Mayor Bernard Wagner, Councillor for Traffic, Albert Vaughan, and the entire Belize City Council continuously work toward development so that our customers will always receive reliable and efficient services.”
