Jasmine Hartin denied bail at Magistrates Court

By Benjamin Flowers: Jasmine Hartin, who is standing trial for the shooting death of Police Superintendent Henry Jemmott, has been denied bail at the San Pedro Magistrates Court.

Moments ago, Hartin’s attorney Godfrey Smith SC, explained that the Court upheld the prosecution’s objection to bail.

Smith said that Hartin still has the option of applying for Supreme Court bail, which will be done tomorrow.

Hartin, who is officially charged with manslaughter by negligence, remains in detention at the San Pedro Police Station.
