Patrick Faber blames angry fit caught on camera on domestic pressure

By Aaron Humes: There’s more to the thirty-second video making the rounds on social media today, according to Leader of the Opposition Patrick Faber.

Faber’s personal life has been a target for his political rivals in both parties, and he admits that the video shows “actions [that] were not fit to be emulated” by those he claims look up to him.

Faber, divorced and a father of three, explained that he was reacting to circumstances which, he says, “have unjustly kept me away from my 2-year-old daughter.” He ascribes it to a change in relationship status.

And while he maintains that his children – he also has two older boys from a previous relationship “mean the world,” his youngest saw him in a weaker moment in which he reacted rather violently to an exchange. He has made up with her, he says, and commits to ensuring it doesn’t happen again.

Whether this will be enough to silence those baying for his resignation in this sensitive climate of political correctness remains to be seen.
