Minister of Tourism updated on phased re-opening of land and sea borders

By Zoila Palma: During Cabinet’s meeting held on June 1, the Minister of Tourism and Diaspora Relations, Anthony Mahler gave an update on the phased re-opening of land and sea borders.

The borders opened to receive foreign tourists are the Santa Elena Northern Border, Benque Viejo del Carmen Western Border, San Pedro and Punta Gorda borders.

Only tourists who are pre-booked at Gold Standard Certified accommodations for a period of no less than three days will be allowed entry into Belize.
