Three men from Northern Belize including two Mennonites busted with cocaine

By BBN Staff: Police detained 3 men today, including two Mennonites, that were caught with parcels containing cocaine, suspected to be from a recently crashed narco jet off the coast of Belize.

Police reports indicate that around 11 a.m. police were conducting an operation in Corozal when cops saw a white pickup truck on the Little Belize road.

Officers searched the vehicle and found 7 parcels with suspected cocaine.

The driver of the vehicle, a resident from Progresso and his passengers, two Mennonite farmers from Little Belize Village were detained pending charges for ‘Possession of Controlled Drugs’ with intent to supply to another.
