Five new patients recover from COVID-19

By Benjamin Flowers: The Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW) is reporting that five more Belizeans have managed to recover from COVID-19 infection.

New recoveries were split between two females and three males. The national total for recoveries now stands at 12,439, and the national recovery rate stands at 96.7.

There were six hospitalized within standard COVID-19 units; however, and one receiving critical care for COVID-19 in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

The MOHW notes that there are 85 active cases of COVID-19 and another 187 suspected cases under investigation.
