Ministry of Health and Wellness reports 21 new cases of COVID-19

By Benjamin Flowers: Belize has recorded 21 new cases of COVID-19, according to the Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW).

The Ministry’s latest daily update shows that the newly confirmed cases were detected among a sample batch of 926 tests.

The new cases were split between 13 females and 8 males.

The daily positivity rate stood at 2.28, while the country’s national total for confirmed cases now stands at 12,861.

There were no new deaths associated with the virus.
