San Pedro police get two firearms off the streets

By BBN Staff: San Pedro police found two guns during operations yesterday.

The first was a black pistol with no serial number on it and five live .9mm rounds inside, which was recovered around 4:30 p.m. near the entrance of a pier.

The second was a black CZ .9mm pistol, found in a busy area some 16 miles north of San Pedro, which contained nine live rounds.

In both cases, no one was in the area when the searches were conducted. As such, the firearms were labelled as found property.
