Woman robbed of her gold chain at gunpoint in Belize City

By BBN Staff: A woman was robbed at gunpoint in Belize City last night.

Alisha Mora, 21, told police she was at the Corner of Levi’s Slusher and Junior Street around 7:30 p.m. when a man on a bicycle rode past her and grabbed her gold chain. She managed to snatch it back from the culprit, who then pulled out a firearm and pointed it at her.

Mora told police that she feared for her life, so she handed over the chain to the culprit, who then rode off.

Police are investigating.
