By Aaron Humes: Skies will be sunny today with a few cloudy spells and partly cloudy tonight. Showers will be isolated and Toledo may see isolated thunderstorms.
A heat advisory is in effect to limit outdoor activity and stay hydrated in inland areas.
High temperatures peak this afternoon at 89 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 97 degrees inland and 82 degrees in the hills. Tonight, temperatures fall to 81 degrees on the coast, 75 inland and 68 in the hills.
Winds are easterly at 10 to 20 knots and conditions are moderate.
Tides will be low at 3:43 this afternoon then high at 9:49 tonight. The sun sets at 26 minutes past six and rises Wednesday morning at 5:17.
Continued fair weather and isolated showers and thunderstorms are predicted for Wednesday.
