Corozal Football Academy will be launched under agreement reached by Corozal Town Council, Corozal Sports Council and Corozal Football Association

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Today the Football Federation of Belize (FFB) announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) by the Corozal Town Council, the Corozal Sports Council and Corozal Football Association for the inception of the Corozal Football Academy.

Mayor Rigoberto Vellos said that even though he is known for bodybuilding (He has won the Mr Belize on several occasions.), he has a love for football which he played competitively.

He said the three Corozal bodies want to share that love with the community.

Martin Vasquez, administrator of the Corozal Football Association, said the Academy will be launched on June 26.
