Entertainer shot on Victoria Street

By Aaron Humes: An armed shooter stormed a residence on Victoria Street Wednesday night but fourtunately managed to injure only one person with gunfire, according to police.

27-year-old John King of Pickstock Street was socializing at a Victoria Street residence around 9:30 p.m. when shots were heard from outside.

Then, police say, two men who were in the yard ran inside, followed by the shooter, who fired several shots through the open door of the residence.

King was hit in the buttock area and transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. Police investigations continue.
