Joshua Fuller wins C-Ray Full Throttle Thursday Race

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Joshua Fuller won the 21-mile C-Ray Full Throttle Thursday Race that was marred by a crash, which put out a number of cyclists, on the John Smith Road this morning.

Giovanni Lovell, who had won the four previous races, did not participate in this morning race.

Carlton Robinson finished second while Brandon Cattouse followed in 3rd. Darien Anderson was 4th and Eric Huesner 5th.

Brandon Cattouse won the Masters A (35-44yrs) followed by Henry Moriera in 2nd.

Dwayne Wade won the Masters B (45-54yrs).

“Speedy recovery to all the cyclists who crashed this morning,” said the organizers.

On the first lap as they neared the George Price Highway 8-Mile roundabout, Gilberto Acosta, Alvan Gillett, Wayne Moses, Leroy Casasola, Santino Castillo, Edison Usher and Kaya Cattouse, among others, were involved in the crash that put them all out of the race.

Gillett and Moses suffered the brunt of the crash said Kaya Cattouse. She added that Alvan Gillett may have broken his collarbone.
