Moist and unstable conditions prevail according to the National Meteorological Service. Today, skies will be cloudy at times with some showers, isolated thunderstorms, and periods of rain will occur mostly over the north and inland, decreasing this afternoon. Then some showers, a few thunderstorms, and periods of rain will affect most places tonight.
A flood watch is in effect as there is the possibility for flooding in low-lying and flood-prone areas, especially over the southern districts.
High temperatures are 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 88 degrees Fahrenheit inland and 76 degrees in the hills; tonight, expect temperatures of 79 degrees along the coast; 73 inland, and 67 in the hills.
Winds are from the east to southeast at 10 to 20 knots; sea state is light chop.
Tides will be high this morning at 9:57 a.m., and this evening at 11:44 p.m., and low at 5:33 p.m. this evening. The sun sets at 6:27 p.m. this evening and rises Saturday morning at 5:17 a.m.
For Saturday and Saturday night, there will be some showers, a few thunderstorms, and periods of rain to affect most places. Activity will decrease slightly during the afternoon, then redevelop and increase during the night, mainly along the coast.
