By Aaron Humes: Police continue their investigations into a robbery at a Belize City shop on Thursday.
Around 12:40 in the afternoon, police visited the Double Zero shop located at 6719 Western Avenue, Belize City.
Shop owner Xochil Natali Lopez, 34-year-old naturalized Belizean, said she was inside her shop when four men entered, one armed with a firearm.
He pointed it at her and demanded money. The culprits stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the cash register and escaped.
