By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Nicholas Ara is the new head coach of U-15 Belize Boys’ National Team (BBNT) said the Football Federation of Belize (FFB) today.
“Coach Ara has been involved in football for over 15 years and has been actively coaching for the past 6 years,” said the FFB in a press release.
Ara will lead the U-15 BBNT to the UNCAF U-15 Boy’s Championship 2021. The Central American Championship will be played in Nicaragua from August 22-28.
“Originally from Roaring Creek village, coach Ara has also served as the Head Coach for Roaring Creek United FC in the U-10, U-13, and U-15 categories,” the FFB added.
“He currently holds a Concacaf “D” License and FIFA Grassroots License and has international experience having served as the Head Coach for the U-13 Boys’ Team that participated in the 2019 Codicader Games.”
The FFB said the U-15 BBNT Technical Team includes Assistant Coach Joseph Waight, Fitness Coach Dennis Serano, Goalkeeper Coach Stanley Reneau, Team Manager Tyrone Muschamp, and Physiotherapist Pedro de Armas.
