Police find body of decomposed security guard near island south of Belize City

By Benjamin Flowers: The Belize Police Department has identified the dead body located on an island 10 miles south of Belize City, as that of Cecil Tillett.

Officers visited the location around 12:30 p.m. yesterday where they found the body face down in the sea in an advanced state of decomposition. The body was also missing a leg. 

Tillett was employed by Stanly Lamby as a security guard for the island. 

A post mortem examination is pending as part of an ongoing police investigation.
