By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Brandon Cattouse clocked 48 minutes and 11 seconds setting a new record today for the C-Ray’s Full Throttle Thursday Race.

Today’s race only featured 17 riders, but the cyclists dug deep and set a pace that resulted in an average speed of 25.6 miles per hour.
The race covers two laps on the John Smith between Western Paradise on the George Price Highway and Ladyville on the Philip Goldson Highway via the PSW Goldson International Airport.
Last week’s winner, Joshua Fuller, was second.
Darien Anderson rode in 3rd, Eric Huesner 4th and Sherwin Roca 5th
The cash prize of $135 was shared among the Top Five and Anthony Taylor who according to Kaya Cattouse “contributed to the pacing in order to break the record.”
