By Ruben Morales Iglesias: If you have been to Chon Saan Palace you surely met Ms. Mary behind the counter taking orders or if you called to order, more than likely she was the one who answered you.
“Today Chon Saan Palace and staff mourns the death of our beloved ‘Ms Mary’. We will surely miss your smile and kindness. May Your soul Rest In Peace,” wrote Lee Mark Chang, general Manager of Chon Saan Palace on his Facebook page on June 15.
Harrison August pointed out that she had worked for Chon Saan Palace from the time the restaurant was on Euphrates Avenue in Belize City.
And comments started to flow from clients of the Belize City Restaurant. Mostly people remember her pleasant disposition and her ever-present smile.
May Ms. Mary rest in peace.
