Belize soon to welcome 1st cruise ship in over a year

By Zoila Palma: On Cabinet’s meeting on Tuesday, it welcomed the report from the Minister of Tourism and Diaspora Relations that cruise tourism will soon return to Belize.

The first port call will be July 7.

Cabinet also appointed a ministerial subcommittee comprised of the Ministry of Tourism and Diaspora Relations and the Ministry of Health and Wellness to develop a set of COVID-19 protocols to ensure safe entry of cruise tourists to Belize.
