Ministry of Health and Wellness: Ten new COVID cases in two days

By Benjamin Flowers: In the past two days, Belize has recorded 10 new cases of COVID-19, according to the Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW).

The Ministry did not issue its daily report yesterday due to technical difficulties and today published a report which compiled data from June17-18.

The 10 cases were detected among a sample batch of 1,303 tests.

The new cases were split between three females and seven males.

The positivity rate for the two days stood at 0.77, while the country’s national total for confirmed cases now stands at 13,004.
