By Benjamin Flowers: The Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW) has reported that more than 40 patients have managed to recover from COVID-19 infection between Thursday and Friday.
The MOHW’s latest national update shows 44 new recoveries over the two-day period.
New recoveries were split between 23 females and 21 males.
The national total for recoveries now stands at 12,551, and the national recovery rate stands at 96.5.
There were five patients hospitalized due to the virus, but none of them were receiving critical in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
The MOHW notes that there are 109 active cases of COVID-19 and another 251 suspected cases under investigation.
