City man shot late Friday night

By Aaron Humes: Police are investigating the latest shooting incident to occur in the Old Capital on Friday night.

Police found 35-year-old Mark Burgess of Lakeview Street in hospital with a gunshot wound to the right buttocks around 10:30 Friday night.

Initial investigation reveals that on Friday 18th June, 2021, at 10:25pm Mark Burgess was walking on Iguana Street and upon reaching at the corner of Iguana Street and Seagull Street, he was approached from behind by someone who fired shots at him causing injury. He is presently admitted in a stable condition.
