Taiwan Ambassador meets with Belize Taiwan Alumni Society members

By Zoila Palma: On Friday, Taiwan’s Ambassador to Belize, David Kuan-Chou Chien met the newly-formed Belize Taiwan Alumni Society (BTAS) Board.

Members of the board include President Alobi Young, Vice President Gale Quiroz, Treasurer Andrea August, Membership Officer Philip Codd Jr. and Secretary Cindy Espinal.

Ambassador Chien thanked the society for their efforts in promoting Taiwan in Belize and further strengthening Taiwan-Belize relationship.

“Taiwan Embassy will continue working with BTAS to deepen our bonds of friendship,” a statement from the embassy said.
