By Benjamin Flowers: The latest gas price increase announced today by the Government of Belize will affect both Regular and Diesel fuel.
The Ministry of Finance (MOF) announced today that as of Tuesday, June 22, the price per gallon for Regular gasoline will increase by 8 cents from $10.95 to $11.03 per gallon; diesel will increase by 8 cents from $10.51 to $10.59 per gallon.
The MOF said that the prices for premium gasoline and kerosene will remain unchanged at $11.67 and $7.41 per gallon, respectively.
The announcement comes just four days after the last announced price increase, which affected Kerosene.
This latest price increase represents the 17th price adjustment for 2021 and the fifth adjustment for the month of June.
