By Zoila Palma: The U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) said that most adult deaths from COVID-19 are preventable thanks to COVID-19 vaccines.
CDC’s Director, Rochelle Walensky said that now, COVID-19 adult deaths can be prevented by getting vaccinated.
However, the Delta variant of the virus remains a major concern for health experts around the world.
Dr.Anthony Fauci said the Delta variant is currently the greatest threat to the elimination of COVID-19 in the US.
The variant is believed to be more transmissible.
The COVID-19 vaccines are still effective against the Delta variant, Yahoo News reports.
