Two men hospitalized with stab wounds after argument in Belize City

By Aaron Humes: Two men are in hospital after their meeting in Belize City on Monday turned violent.

Thirty-two-year-old Giovanni Augustine and his partner Judith Parham, both of Biscayne, Belize District, were on Magazine Road, Belize City on Monday evening around 5:25 PM.

Police were told that Orlandave Parham from Curassow Street approached them and began to argue with Augustine about an incident with his (Parham’s) mother the previous Friday.

Parham took out a knife and stabbed Augustine to the left side of the abdomen. Parham was cut to left side of the ribcage but it is not clear who stabbed him or if he was cut during the argument.

Police investigations continue.
