The traffic officer, Feliz Lambey, reported to police that around 10:20 a.m. on Tuesday, he was on duty when a vehicle being driven by Elvis Zabaneh, drove up to a section of Havana Street which was blocked off because it was under construction.

Lambey said that Zabaneh moved several traffic cones and drove past a “Do not enter” sign so he got on a motorcycle and followed. when he caught up to Zabaneh, Lambey informed him that he would get a ticket for moving the cones and ignoring the sign.

Lambey said that, not long after, Zabaneh drove up to him brandishing a firearm and threatening to shoot him. Fearing for his life he reported the incident to police and Zabaneh has since been charged with ‘Aggravated Assault’.
