“Before you relax, get vaxxed:” Ministry of Health announces reset of vaccination campaign

By Aaron Humes: Minister of Health and Wellness Michel Chebat announced this afternoon that while the Ministry of Health does not consider its efforts to vaccinate the population against COVID-19 “an abject failure” thus far, we can certainly do better than approximately 79 thousand first doses and 26 thousand full vaccinations.

Next week Wednesday, the Ministry will present a re-launch of the National Vaccination Campaign under the theme “Before you relax, get vaxxed.”

Vaccination will help the country’s economy return to near-normal; revive the flagging tourism product; and with the capacity to store Pfizer vaccines which are accessible to children 12 to 18 years of age, enable in-person education for this sizable portion of the population.
