Belizeans killed execution style in Tulum, Mexico

By Zoila Palma: Local media in Mexico are reporting that 3 men who were executed today at the Tulum National Park are Belizeans.

The men were shot and killed while at a beach at the national park. The attack reportedly occurred while other tourists were in the area.

The 3 Belizean men are reportedly from the Corozal district.

One specific report noted that last week the men were in Belize and somehow traveled to Tulum, Mexico while the land borders between the 2 countries remain closed.

The Belize Police Department has not yet issued a report confirming the incident or releasing the names of the victims.
