By Zoila Palma: Prime Minister John Briceno says that government’s housing program will commence with 150 low-income houses for Belizeans.

Briceno said that applications will be made available soon.

Belizeans wishing to apply must have land to set their house on.

In addition, the Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing will engage in an aggressive housing program that will include government and private sector working together.

PM Briceno says that his administration brought forth a new confidence in the people of Belize with hopes and plans to make Plan Belize a reality.

“I want to continue to be an approachable Prime Minister. I don’t want to lose that touch that people can feel, here is a person that really cares and this is a government that cares,” Briceno said.
