Hairdresser charged with drug trafficking over almost 100 grams of weed, pleads not guilty

By BBN Staff: A Belize City hairdresser is out on bail after being charged with drug trafficking in Belize City Magistrates Court today.

Kayla Baldarez, 33, was reportedly busted along with another man, who has yet to be arrested, and found to have 98 grams (3.4 ounces) of marijuana in their possession.

Baldarez pleaded not guilty to the charge and was offered bail in the sum of $1,000 plus one surety of the same.

Her next court case is scheduled for August 24, 2021
