No details on Orange Walk COVID-positive baby

By Aaron Humes: Minister of Health and Wellness Michel Chebat, this afternoon, said he was awaiting a briefing on how a baby who is only 15 days old, in the Orange Walk District, acquired COVID-19.

The baby was diagnosed with COVID-19 after multiple tests and admitted to the Northern Regional Hospital in Orange Walk Town.

However, the baby’s mother was negative for the virus, prompting questions as to whether she took the vaccine.

Chebat promised a formal response as soon as he has the details, and when we get it we will be sharing it with you.
