U.S. hands over vaccine freezer to Ministry of Health

By Aaron Humes: The Ministry of Health and Wellness this afternoon is receiving a special freezer from the United States.

As you might guess, it’s not just any freezer – donated by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), it will enable Belize to procure and store any COVID-19 vaccines and make it possible to vaccinate children.   

The handover ceremony is being held at the National Vaccine Building on the compound of the Western Regional Hospital, Belmopan.
