BEL announces power outage for Coral Grove in Belize City for Sunday

By Ruben Morales Iglesias: BEL today announced a ‘planned power outage’ for the Coral Grove area of Belize city for Sunday, June 27, “to temporarily remove high voltage lines to facilitate removal of heavy construction machinery in the area.”

BEL said the outages will be distributed in the following manner:

6:00am to 1pm

Affected areas: portion Coral Grove including Coney Drive from Sunrise Avenue to Sundial Avenue inclusive of Sunrise Avenue, Blue Marlin Avenue, Sunray Avenue, Sundial Avenue, and portion Durgeon Drive between Blue Marlin Avenue and Sundial Street and adjacent streets;

Portion West Landivar including Chancellor Avenue, Campus Avenue, Graduate Crescent, College Street, Freshman Street, and Bachelor Avenue.

6:00AM to 6:15am & 12:45pm to 1pm

The area from Marbee Cone Avenue in Coral Grove to Broaster Avenue in Buttonwood Bay inclusive of Marbee Cone Avenue, Crown Cone Avenue, Scallop Avenue, Salt Avenue, Edward Avenue, Love Avenue, Grace Avenue, Cross Avenue, Joy Avenue, Life Avenue, Spain Avenue, Seashore Drive, Buttonwood Bay Boulevard, Crescent Street, Pike Street, Park Avenue, Bay Street, Keating Crescent, Palmdale Street, Manatee Drive, Golding Avenue, Dolphin Avenue, 4th Avenue, and Broaster Avenue.
