By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Football Federation of Belize (FFB) is on Tuesday signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Youth, Sports and E-Governance and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Technology.
Yashmin Juan, the FFB’s Marketing and Communications Director, said today the MOU is for a Football for Schools Project.
She said that Football for Schools Project is a program where the FFB will be working jointly with schools.
Two weeks ago, the FFB signed a 30-year agreement with the National Sports Council whereby they will assist the NSC with training of its sports coordinators and the NSC will allow the FFB the use of its facilities.
FFB President Sergio Chuc, Dian Castillo-Maheia, CEO in the Ministry of Education, and Ian Cal, NSC Director will make presentations at the signing while FFB Technical Director will present an overview of the Football for Schools Project.
