More than 30 new recoveries from COVID-19

By Benjamin Flowers: Over the last three days, there have been more than 30 patients recovered from COVID-19 infection according to the Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW).

The Ministry’s daily update issued today, which covers the period June26-28, showed a total of 33 new recoveries.

The new recoveries were split between 18 females and 15 males.

The national total for recoveries now stands at 12,645, and the national recovery rate stands at 95.9.

There was only one patient hospitalized due to the virus in a standard COVID-19 unit, and one patient receiving critical care in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

The MOHW also reported 199 active cases of COVID-19 and another 167 suspected cases under investigation.
