Over 50 new COVID-19 infections recorded

By Benjamin Flowers: The Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW) is reporting over 50 new cases of COVID-19.

The Ministry’s latest daily update shows that there were 52 newly-confirmed cases detected among a sample batch of 1,686 tests done between June 26-28.

Of the new cases, 31 were female and 21 were male.

The three-day positivity rate stood at 3.16 while the country’s national total for confirmed cases now stands at 13,189.

There were no new deaths associated with the virus.
